Stephanie Holt

APA Titled Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist
BSc. Physiotherapy
MSc. Sports Physiotherapy

As an APA Titled Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist, Steph is experienced in management of sporting injuries and rehabilitation, pain related to work or motor vehicle accidents.

Steph has a special interest in complex or chronic pain conditions and is currently completing another Masters Degree in Pain Management at the University of Sydney. She loves working with sports injuries, back and neck pain, or complex pain conditions (including chronic back pain, headache and fibromyalgia).

Steph is available for 1:1 appointments (including extended consultations for complex conditions) and conducts small group exercise classes focusing on more intensive rehabilitation.

In her spare time, Steph loves competing and coaching netball, running and weights training and hanging out with her husband, kids and their menagerie of animals!

Reuben Holt

BSc. Physiotherapy

As a foundation physio with Drovers Elite Physio, Reuben has extensive experience in working with our community to manage back and neck pain, headaches and sport-related injuries.

He is also experienced with work and motor vehicle related injuries, managing your pain, organising and supervising your rehabilitation and liaising with your doctor, employer and insurance company as required. Reuben loves exercise rehabilitation and will get you fighting fit in no time!

Reuben is available for 1:1 consultations and is often seen visiting the gym with patients.

Outside of work, Reuben is a mad Eagles fan, cricket & golf crazy and will chat with your ear off about his dog!

Janelle Thexeira


BSc. Physiotherapy

Janelle joins our practice with experience in musculoskeletal and sporting injuries. Her special interest areas are shoulder and neck pain, lower back pain, working with kids and sporting injuries. She is particularly interested on finding solutions to your pain that fit within your life and work to develop treatment suited to your needs and long term goals.

Janelle runs 2 exercise rehabilitation classes at the practice during the week, and is an expert at planning long term exercise solutions for your pain. She is available for 1:1 appointments Monday to Saturday!

Outside of work Janelle is a dog-loving, multi-sport enthusiast!

Lachlan Shakeshaft 

BSc. Physiotherapy 

Lachlan has worked in a variety of fields including sports physiotherapy, aged care services & private practice since graduating from Curtin University in 2016. He has a passion for providing functional rehabilitation specific to each client’s everyday requirements. Lachlan’s special interest areas include chronic pain, lower limb and tendon injuries.

Lachlan loves getting people active, improving their strength and endurance to help them get stronger and pain-free and stay that way for longer!

Lachlan is available for 1:1 consultations Monday-Saturday.

Outside of work, Lachlan is a passionate volleyball tragic, helping to run one of the northern suburbs’ clubs here in Perth. He’s also a bit of a self-confessed nerd and will often meet up with friends for board & tabletop games!

Michael Janssen 


BSc. Physiotherapy 

Michael is a Physiotherapy graduate from Curtin University. Since graduating he has gained experience across private practice, sporting, motor vehicle injury management, Workers Compensation claims and hospital sectors.

Michael has a keen interest in treating lower back and neck conditions and enjoys combining the most effective manual therapy with an exercise-based therapy to ensure his patients achieve their goals.

In his own time Michael enjoys rock climbing, staying fit in the gym and playing basketball!

Luke Richards 


B. Physiotherapy 

Luke is an experienced physiotherapist with a strong interest in musculoskeletal pain and sports injuries. He enjoys the challenge of returning athletes to their previous level (or better!), as well as ensuring our community weekend warriors are performing at their best without pain or injury. He also has an interest in working with acute spinal injuries such as neck and lower back pain.

The goals of Luke’s treatments are always to minimise pain, optimise function and get you back to being your best as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Luke will be running exercise rehabilitation classes during the week 


Luke is available for 1:1 appointments Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays!


Outside of work, Luke love’s playing AFL for his local amateur club, Ocean Ridge Eagles, and when he is not running around the paddock he enjoys a good swim.

Priyanka Bhalvani 

APA Titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist

BSc. Physiotherapy 

MSc. Clinical Physiotherapy (Musculoskeletal Major) 

Priyanka (Priya) is an APA Titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and she completed her Master of Clinical Physiotherapy degree from Curtin University in 2017. Prior to this she obtained her bachelor of Physiotherapy from India in 2011. Since moving to Perth in 2011 she has worked in various private practices. 

Clinically she enjoys treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions like spinal pain, shoulder, hip and knee pain but has a particular interest in treating chronic complex pain. After thorough examination she aims to find out the source/drivers of pain and then modulate these with treatment techniques like manual therapy, education and exercises to best achieve her patient’s goals. 

Outside of work she enjoys practicing yoga, catching up with friends and spending family time with her husband and daughter.

Kerryn O'Brien


B. Physiotherapy

BSc. Science (Psychology)

Kerryn has worked in both the public and private sector and has gained experience working with private, DVA, MVA and workers compensation cases.

She has experience working with athletes from WAFL and amateur AFL, tennis and hockey.

Kerryn has a special interest in sports injuries, orthopaedic rehab and lower back pain and is enthusiastic about helping you get back to doing what you love.

She is passionate about delivering a tailored rehab pathway that is suited to you.

Outside of work you’ll find Kerryn at the beach, on the golf course or tennis court, or enjoying a relaxing coffee.

Callum Darch


B. Physiotherapy

Callum is a Physiotherapy graduate from The University of Notre Dame. He has experience with neurological and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. Callum has a special interest in sporting injuries, paediatric rehabilitation, low back pain and lower limb injuries.

Callum is passionate about assisting people overcome their injuries utilising a mixture of manual therapy and exercises. He especially enjoys helping people work towards leading a healthier lifestyle. Callum is available for 1:1 appointments from Monday-Saturday and exercises classes throughout the week.

When Callum’s not at work, you may find him outside in his vege garden losing track of time or in the gym keeping fit.

Jayde Thompson

Exercise Physiologist

BSc. Exercise Physiology

As an Exercise Physiologist, Jayde's role is to develop management plans for your long term health goals.

Jayde has a special interest in metabolic health (diabetes, weight loss, metabolic syndrome etc), and chronic health conditions.

Jayde conducts 1:1 assessments and also runs exercise classes to help you get active and progress your load safely and effectively to reach your goals.

Hayden Van Der Merwe

Exercise Physiologist

B.Sc (Hons) Biokinetics, AEP

Hayden grew up and studied in South Africa, and in 2016 he immigrated to Australia to
continue his career as an Exercise Physiologist.

During his university years he spent time working closely with special populations including
those with physical and mental disabilities. Hayden also worked for four years as a primary
school sports coach in order to gain experience working with children.

Following his graduation he worked with several professional sports teams, Olympic and
Paralympic athletes, while delivering successful health and lifestyle programs for the mature
population. His passion for movement and injury prevention has even taken him to the
middle of the Tanami desert.

Having grown up surrounded by all things sport, he naturally has a keen interest for the
sporting field - and court - with a particular passion for rugby union and cricket. Hayden
currently plays rugby union, golf and tennis. Hayden enjoys treating all types of
musculoskeletal injuries and is a strong believer in the benefits that exercise holds for every
single person, young and old.

Hayden has done a great deal of volunteer work which notably includes working with the
Subiaco Lions WAFL team.

Sophie Cooper

Reception Manager

Cert I, II & III in Sport and Recreation

Cert I in Hospitality and Barista Accreditation 

Sophie is the familiar friendly face that you will likely see if you are attending Drovers Elite Physiotherapy for an appointment and has been working full time as a part of our Reception team since 2018! However, she can sometimes be spotted at our other clinics as well.


She is more than happy to help with any queries or questions you may have in relation to your appointment, costs, classes and almost anything else. She is also quite familiar with the claiming processes for Workers Compensation and Motor Vehicle Accident claims and would be happy to assist where she is able to, if required. 


Outside of work Sophie loves the outdoors and a good adventure, her most recent trip being up North with stops all along the way to Exmouth and then to Eagle Bay exploring the South West. Sophie is an animal lover with two Bird's and two Dogs of her own, she loves to chat about animals and is often sharing pictures of her fluffy (or feathery) friends!

Susan Cope 

Practice Manager

Cert IV in Health and Fitness 

Sue joined the practice bringing with her a strong background in Admin Management from years working in Radiology and the Fitness Industry. She is the person behind the scene, but can often be seen assisting elsewhere over the four practices. 


Sue loves a good coffee and spends a great deal of time at the local gym weight training. With two sons her weekends are spent on the side of the athletics track or basketball court. With a passion for helping people and providing outstanding customer service, Sue fits in with the team perfectly!  


Her Favourite saying is “If you want light to come into your life, you need to stand where it is shining.” - Guy Finley.

Matthew Stewart 


B. Commerce

Cert IV in Hospitality and Barista Accreditation 

As a part of the family owned business, Matt is Steph's #1 supporter and #1 critic.


He works Part time at Iluka and as a Full time Dad alongside Steph. Matt started out as a tradie and has worked 25 years in customer service, working across both hospitality and retail services. 17 of those years in hardware and architectural coatings then, 7 years working his way up to State Manager of WA & SA. 


When Matt's not working he plays ice hockey for Northern Ice Hockey Association and gets creative doing some woodwork and painting, he's also a bit of a board game master and is currently learning to speak Spanish. Matt has a habit of picking up new hobbie and it turns into a whole side hustle!


Matt is a coffee enthusiast, almost always running off little to no sleep from spending some quality time with Steph and his kids.. at 3AM.. most nights.
